HAND DELIVERED

Dear Governor Christie:

We are writing to thank you for your prescient decision to support vaccination choice during the gubernatorial campaign. After you wrote the attached letter in support of our community, many more parents mobilized to vote for you. We are proud of your leadership in our state, and the example you are setting in our country. We wanted to share three important developments with you:

  1. Our bill, the Conscientious Exemption to Mandatory Immunization, A-2450, is moving through the legislature. It is scheduled for a vote in the Assembly Education Committee on February 10th.
  2. Attached is an advance copy of the book, Vaccine Epidemic: How Corporate Greed, Biased Science, and Coercive Government Threaten Our Human Rights, Our Health, and Our Children. It is co-edited by Louise, who is also a contributing author, and will be available on Amazon and in bookstores on February 9th. We would be honored if you could join us for the book launch at NYU School of Law on February 18th at 6:00 pm.
  3. The Coalition is planning a statewide forum on vaccination choice in the spring. It will feature public engagement and civil discourse on this important topic that affects all parents. Representatives from the many sides of this issue will be invited to speak and to respond to questions from the audience.

Across our state and country, there is tremendous support building for vaccination choice as a fundamental human right. In the face of unanswered questions about vaccine safety, parents are demanding the right to direct the upbringing of their children. We welcome your continued support and send our very best wishes.
