“The Truth Does Not Change According To Our Ability To Stomach It.”

But The Health Departments And The Media Think It Does!
Several weeks ago in March, large numbers of media outlets as well as County and State Health Departments issued notice of mumps outbreaks in the New York/ New Jersey area and blamed it on a specific religious sect.
What they failed to mention in those notices was the vaccination status of the infected individuals!
Would it serve your interest to know that the outbreak occurred among a population of largely vaccinated people? In fact, 88% of those infected had been vaccinated, and 75% had been vaccinated twice, against the disease.
Even so, this notoriously problematic MMR vaccine, which evidently fails to protect, is being recommended more aggressively!
According to a press release issued by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services on 2/25/10, NJDHSS responded to the outbreak as if it never occurred in a vaccinated population. They proceed to recommend that babies receive the first dose of MMR at 12 months of age and NOW, the second dose should be administered 4 weeks later rather than the previous recommendation of 4 years later. Remember, 75% of the infected population mentioned above HAD been vaccinated TWICE!
Full Disclosure of Information is Lacking! Just One of the Reasons Why New Jersey Needs Conscientious Exemption from Mandated Vaccines!
Great News For All Vaccination Choice Supporters!
THE CONSCIENTIOUS EXEMPTION BILL HAS MOVED!
NEW BILL NUMBER Assembly Bill 2450 allowing for a Conscientious Exemption from state-mandated vaccines, has been placed in the Assembly Education Committee. The bill must first pass successfully out of committee with a majority vote in order to go to the floor of the Assembly for a full vote. Previously, the bill had been stonewalled in the Assembly Health Committee.
Support for the bill in the Assembly Education Committee is already good. Of the twelve committee members, NJCVC has four members signed on as sponsors of the bill. We need at least three more members to sign on to have enough votes for A 2450 to pass out of committee for a full floor vote.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
The legislators will only entertain calls from people in their districts, so please, find your Education Committee legislator from the list below and CALL! The General Assembly will reconvene on May 8th and the bill will be posted for a hearing soon.
Each Education Committee member recently received a packet, prepared by NJCVC, with documentation to support the Conscientious Exemption Bill. Ask them about this!
TELL THEM:
- YOU are a constituent and YOU support the Conscientious Exemption Bill A2450
(*note new bill number from last session.) - You would like to meet with THEM about their support for the bill.
- You will bring a leader from the New Jersey Coalition for Vaccination Choice to the meeting.
